Nvidia has kicked off the excitement with the launch of the RTX 3000 Series laptops. The GPU manufacturer is holding a virtual CES press event tomorrow and is widely expected to unveil the portable versions of the RTX 3000 series GPUs. A new teaser video includes a very clear hint for a laptop, along with some other announcements that It is likely to be released by Nvidia.

The gaming laptop hints at the RTX 3000 portable GPUs, but the RTX logo is also likely to spark more GPUs on the desktop. Resizable BAR support seems to be a hint of an upcoming driver update for Nvidia’s RTX cards. Much like AMD Smart Access MemoryNvidia can increase the throughput between CPU and GPU to optimize frameworks. Motherboard manufacturers will need to provide BIOS updates to enable this for both Intel and AMD processors, but Nvidia’s teaser indicates it’s ready to offer the necessary driver support as well.
